Slow on the Uptake

Okay, so I realize my last post was forever ago. I never promised I would be here every week :) I am a little slow on maintaining this blog, but with the girls help I could do much better I am sure.

So, the girls start at their new school-Lake Mead Christian Academy-on August 20th. Tiffani will be starting High School and Cassie and Chrissy will be Juniors this year. Wow!! Only 2 years left, none of us can believe it.

Cassie and Chrissy are busy trying to find jobs and get time behind the steering wheel. They need 50 hours in addition to the online driving school they are taking right now. Both are doing very well. Tiffani is trying to be part of the JV Volleyball team at Lake Mead next year. She is going to "conditioning" practices and finished a 4-day very intensive Volleyball Camp in Dixie, Utah. She is in the best shape of the house right now.

All three girls went with the church to the Summer Camp at Bison Ranch, Arizona and came back exhausted and full of awesome stories of other teens getting saved and learning so much. We also found out that our youth pastors, who had been planning on returning to their home state, have now decided to stay-the teens are so very excited!!!

Entering Techie Communication

So, although my wonderful sister-in -law showed e how to create a blog many moons ago ( I don't want to admit my procrastination), I am finally attempting to have a family blog.

I am not promising that it will be a multi-faceted as the others I have seen because my three daughters are much more technologically educated then I am, but I am giving it a shot.

Since we live in Henderson, NV (just south of Las Vegas) and much of our family is spread out I thought this would be a great way to keep everyone up on the happenings of our three beautiful young ladies.

Cassie and Chrissy are now in 10th grade as most know and getting ready for a mission trip with the school to Quito, Ecuador. We are keeping this in our prayers to raise money and prepare the girls for what promises to be a life-changing experience. They will be leaving in the beginning of May.

Tiffani has been cheerleading all year and although cannot go on the mission trip is growing in God tremendously!! Hopefully all three girls will be able to go to Bible camp this summer with the church, we had a blast last year and it promises to be wonderful again.

Ron has had a new job fall into his lap and is now the Carpenter Foreman at the Riviera Hotel. He has only been there for a week but seems to be enjoying the office and power :)

I am still working at Advanced Training for the LVMPD and I to am loving my own office and power. Seriously, it is not graveyard-thank you God- and I have weekends and holidays off which lets me spend time with the family like a normal mom. This hasn't necessarily helped with the "to-do" list though. We will get to it some day right?

Okay, well that is a nutshell of where we are now and as soon as I fgure out how to do the picture thing I will post pics of everyone. The girls will not be happy with that, my job as a mother will be complete. hahaha.
